I'm entering my first low-temperature season on Bi-PAP. I experienced rain-out for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I now have a fleece hose-cover and haven't had anything like that since then (IE: hose full of water drops, sprinkles on my face.)
However, for the last 2 or 3 nights, I've wanted a bit more humidity in my air, as I sometimes wake up with a very dry mouth and throat. (I use a full-face mask.)
My humidifier has only been set to 1. When I turn it up to 2, I wake up with condensation in my mask. It is only in the mask, not the hose. I wake up with a little puddle all around the seal. The first time I felt it, I thought "Holy cow! Did I drool THIS much?" It's water, though. When I turn the humidity back to 1, I don't get the problem.
Any advice? Thanks,
Tony
